This is a ceramic workshop taught by Yasmin Falahat:
Beginners hand-building - you will learn the basic techniques of hand-building such as pinch pots, slab building, coiling and surface design. There is no wheel-throwing being taught in this workshop. This 2.5 hour session will give you the opportunity to make your own piece(s)!
Your piece(s) will be fired and covered in a clear glossy glaze, then be available for collection.
There will be no glazing in this session. If you would like to glaze your piece then please select the Two-Part Workshop listing in this website's shop. Alternatively, if you would like to but are unable to make the date of the glazing session, please email yfalahat@gmail.com to arrange a different time and to pay for the glazing session.
The workshop will take place at Brickfield Studios, London, E3 3UQ. More details will be emailed to you after the workshop is purchased.
Please note that the studio where the workshop takes place is on the second floor and unfortunately there is no lift in the building.
Materials, aprons, and tools will be provided, as well as snacks & drinks. All you need to bring is yourself!

This is NOT a workshop to learn how to make the figs & pomegranates, you will be taught the hand-building techniques with which you can make whatever you like.
